Personality Quizzes
We all know who we are, but there's something inherently appealing about having someone else tell us. Especially in terms of our favorite fictional characters, poems, or other inanimate objects!
The Fairy Tale Villain Test
To complement the Fairy Tale Heroine Test, I created its opposite, which will match your more wicked behaviors with an appropriate villain from the classic tales. Hosted by OKCupid.
The Fairy Tale Heroine Test
When destiny comes knocking (in the form of an ugly old crone, naturally), how do you meet it? Your answers to questions like these will determine what fairy tale heroine is most like you. Hosted by OKCupid.
The Restaurant Etiquette Test
In an effort to make the world of dining happier for both customers and restaurant staff, I present this test, where you will learn just how evil (or nice) your restaurant behavior really is. And how to improve it. Hosted by OKCupid.
The Bumper Sticker Test
Hardly scientific, hardly comprehensive, but slightly entertaining...In this test, I will select a bumper sticker for you to display with pride. You can even purchase your result! Hosted by OKCupid.
The Work Personality Test
How much do you work? How much do you really want to work? Two simple questions, answered here, that will help you measure your workplace personality. Hosted by OKCupid.
What's the Best Way for You to Save the Environment?
Are you more of an armchair activist, or a tree-hugging, tree-planting naturalist? Can you lobby with the best of them? Are you of the "every little bit helps" mindset? Discover your eco-calling with this quiz. Hosted by Quizilla.
What Kind of a Nerd Are You?
If you've ever sung, "Maybe then I'll know what kind of nerd I am!" then you should not take this quiz, because "Broadway Nerd" is not one of the answers. But otherwise, why not give it a shot? Hosted by Quizilla.
If You Were a Romeo and Juliet Character...
I might not be able to tell you wherefore, but I can tell you if you are Romeo. Or if you are not. Just take this fabulous quiz and you shall learn the true identity of your Veronan alter ego. Hosted by Quizilla.
What Micro-organism Are You?
Based on your activity levels, eating habits, and other interesting traits, I will pair you up with a protozoan or fungal archetype. Perhaps you can be one in your next life! Hosted by Quizilla.
...And not-so-good stuff! These are all the sites I know of where you can take personality quizzes. Some of them consistently deliver quality; some really make you dig for it. But I'm including all of them anyway. They are listed in order of how much I like them.
- OKCupid
You've probably noticed most of my quizzes are hosted by OKCupid. That's because it's by far the best quiz site I've found. Decent algorithms for creating quizzes, decent quizzes created by users (mostly). Their new quiz site needs some ironing out, but I'm willing to give it time.
- MyYearbook
As you might guess from the name, this site is full of littluns who often make very juvenile quizzes. But there are a few gems to be found there. This is one of the few sites that always shows you all possible scores, and how many people earned each one.
- Quizilla
My favorite quiz site from the days before I discovered OKCupid. It's got more younger users, and a proportional number of stupid quizzes, but it's still acceptable for an occasional visit.
- YouThink.com
Another site with user-created quizzes that are often halfway decent. It never lets you see what the other options are, though, which is a bit disappointing.
- Tickle
Tickle has a mix of PhD certified tests and user-created tests, which means you get a mix of really detailed results and ones that leave you hanging.
- MemeGen
Why do I even include MemeGen? Their quizzes never change. The less popular quizzes are almost always half-finished and idiotic. But who knows... if you're bored...
- QuizPox
Another site with limited value. There are never new quizzes here and the existing ones are pretty uninformative.
- Chatterbean
It looks like a good site for quality quizzes, but they make you click through a lot of ads, just to get a one- or two-sentence answer.
